April 9,2012
Aaron's first week in Argentina.  Man of  few words but lots of substance :)

 Dear Mom,

Well the weather here is pretty humid, but not to bad. I am in an area called Boulogne and it is a town about thirty minutes from Buenos Aires. Most of the time I am just walking around in my white shirt, tie, and pants. My apartment is pretty small but that is all good because I just study, plan, and sleep there. The food is really good here expetionally the meat. There is this giant sandwhich called a milanosa and basically it is a bread, fried meat, mozeralla cheese, tomato sauce, and topped off with more bread. Oo yah and it is almost bigger than my head :D

The people here are really friendly. We have been blessed with a baptism for the 28th of April. His name is Enmanuel and he is the funniest sixteen year old you will ever meet. Can´t really understand him because he talks super fast but his hand movement and such or so funny. He was working with missionaries here before me, and now he is ready. Funny story while proslyting my second day here, we got hit with a huge storm. I was soaked clear to my bones. I have a picture, but can´t figure out how to send it. Give me time, but basically we had to prosolyte for over 40 min in the rain. The people here are really nice. Every member greets me with a hug(not the females) and they have this cool handshake.  Thank you for your prays please keep them coming. The work is hard and I still have a lot more ahead of me.
I love you very much and always will. Tell everyone in the family that I love them too.

Much love,
Elder Aaron Thomas
